It is a great honor to welcome you to the 17th Annual Governor’s Education Summit™ – Achievement: Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere, Any Pace.

The co-hosts, the Michigan Department of Education, the Education Alliance of Michigan and the Michigan Foundation for Education Leadership, have joined their experience and expertise to bring you a comprehensive day focusing on innovative ideas, systems or models in education focused in the following 5 areas:

  • Statewide Broadband
  • Consolidation of state services, data and technologies
  • Digital content and real-time assessment tools
  • 21st Century learning environments
  • Teacher Professionalization

The Steering Committee is pleased to announce that Dr. Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Dean of the School of Education at the University of Michigan is our keynote speaker.  She joins State Board of Education President John Austin and Secretary Nancy Danhof along with 21 breakout sessions to complete what is lining up to be an amazing day.
